Tammy Schilling 

 

Dr. Schilling is an Associate Professor in the Department of Kinesiology at Louisiana Tech University. Her professional experience includes teaching and coaching in public schools. She worked in responsibility-based afterschool physical activity programs at UNC-Greensboro for nine years before moving to Louisiana Tech. For the past seven years, she has utilized adventure education and teambuilding in leadership training for middle and high school participants in Louisiana Gear Up summer programs. She is extremely passionate about the use of physical activity as a powerful avenue for holistic development and for helping all participants realize the leadership potential within.
