Adam Croom

 

Adam Croom is a young creative, aspiring education innovator, and TEDster from Norman, Oklahoma. He curates TEDxOU, an independently organized TED event dedicated to ideas worth spreading. He has produced over 30 TED Talks which have accumulated more than 300,000 views in more than 120 countries worldwide. Adam works full-time at the University of Oklahoma as the Marketing and PR Coordinator for OU Economic Development, which oversees OU's intellectual property management, economic development and technology-based entrepreneurial activities.

Adam is also Project Director for freedom.ou.edu, an online education platform from the OU Institute for the American Constitutional Heritage dedicated to promoting civic education through talks related to citizenship, freedom, and the Constitution. The platform hosts courses such as "The Story of Freedom is America" by Dr. J. Rufus Fears, which has frequently been in the Top 10 Courses on iTunesU and continues to serve over 30,000 digital students.

 

This summer Adam is launching the first "MOOC" (massive open online course) at the OU called Principles of Management.
