Workshops and featured events are intended to mirror the theme of recognizing multiple realities and building collective capacity through engaging participants in conversation with a richly diverse set of speakers and fostering authentic networking and cultural opportunities.

The theme for the 2013 conference is: Ethical Leadership across Borders: Multiple Realities and Building Collective Capacity hosted by the University of Oklahoma at the Skirvin Hotel in downtown Oklahoma City September 29-October 1, 2013 in Oklahoma City, OK.

Research papers and poster displays are to address the ethical dimensions of leadership within the context of multiple stakeholder perspectives and contributions for building collective capacity in and across educational contexts, institutions and organizations. Unique to this conference is a focus strand on athletics and the ways in which organized sports impact education and ethical decision-making in both K-12 and post-secondary settings.
